Abstract:This paper presents an integrated multi-parameter sensing system that combines Brillouin optical time domain reflectometer (BOTDR) and phase sensitive optical time domain reflectometer (φ-OTDR) to simultaneously measure temperature, strain, and vibration information of the sensing fiber. A double heterodyne detection structure is set up to multiplexed the signal, and the scattered light splitting ratio is optimized. When the sensing distance is 8.6km and the spatial resolution is 3m, the temperature and strain measurement accuracy of the system are 0.48℃ and 18.15με, respectively. The vibration measurement results show that the system has a maximum frequency response of 5kHz and a dynamic strain resolution of 8.48nε/√Hz at 100Hz.
