Abstract:Addressing the problem of mismatched acoustic impedance between air-coupled ultrasonic transducers, which leads to low transduction efficiency, paper utilizes PSpice simulation tool to model and simulate air-coupled ultrasonic transducers, investigating the performance improvement after impedance matching. The paper describes the process of establishing the circuit model for the air-coupled sensor using PSpice and sets the simulation parameters. A comparison and validation with actual test results are conducted through impedance simulation plots and time-domain curves. The impact of multi-layer matching on the transducer"s signal amplitude is analyzed, and the practical application of the transducer after impedance matching is also verified.
