Abstract:In this paper, a Machzende interferometer (MZI) based on magnetic fluid coated single-mode-large-core multi-mode fiber-single-mode-single-mode dislocation fusion (SMSS) is combined with fiber grating (FBG). By taking advantage of the magnetorefractive effect of magnetic fluid and the temperature-sensitive property of fiber grating, the dual measurement of temperature and magnetic field is realized at low cost. The beam propagation method is used to simulate and analyze the internal light field of the sensing structure, determine the selection of multi-mode fiber, fuse and make the sensing structure, establish the sensitive matrix, and realize the simultaneous measurement of temperature and magnetic field. Experimental results show that the magnetic field sensitivity and temperature sensitivity of the sensor structure are 15.9pm/Oe and -161.7pm/℃, respectively.
