A high-speed linear array CMOS image sensor is proposed. The sensor can perform the image capturing and column-parallel signal processing. It outputs digital signal at a frame rate of over 100K frame/s. It can reduce the fixed pattern noise (FPN) and amplify (or shrink) the output signals of the photodiode array to maintain the amplitude of the signal. It can continuously perform 10-bit ADC conversion in column-parallel. A 8192×1 pixel image sensor is simulated on computer by using cadence software.
