Abstract:Because of the special work environment the spaceflight Charge-Coupled-Device (CCD) has the demand of Anti-irradiation performance. A customized ultraviolet linear CCD was designed and manufactured to satisfy the needs of satellite system. The CCD based on the development of anti-irradiation and reinforce technology, as well as have the characteristics of high quantum efficiency, high full-well capacity and large dynamic range. After experience several times optimization, the ultraviolet linear CCD had pass the reliability experiment. The performance test indicates that the CCD’s performance always meet the demand of satellite after it endures 30k rad(Si) total dose radiation and 5.0×109 proton/cm2 displacement damage effect. And now, the satellite system is running well on its orbit around the earth since it has been already successfully launched in September 2018.
