In this paper, 12 chips of L3072UD linear array CCD were joined together, and the driving pulse of vertical transfer pulse (ΦP), horizontal transfer pulse (ΦH1 and ΦH2) and reset pulse (ΦR) for each chip of CCD was designed to be the same waves. The open time of the electric shutter was used to control the integration time of each chip of CCD, and every three chips of CCD could share one driver, thus, a system for collecting the spectra of 12 chips of CCD working at the same time was designed and implemented.
