Abstract:The intraspacecraft diffuse wireless optical communication system uses diffuse wireless light as the transmission medium instead of the traditional cable, which has made a significant contribution to the reduction of weight and energy consumption of satellites. It also simplifies the work in the assembly, integration and testing phase (AIT). The diffuse optical transmission link inside the satellite was analyzed and simulated in this paper. The infrared LED was used to emit light, and the PIN photodiode was used to receive light, both of which accomplish the conversion between optical signals and electric signals. Combined with CAN bus communication system, the satellite wireless optical communication system was designed. The system was tested on a simulation platform of the satellite, enabling stable communication at 1M baud on the visual link and 500K baud on the nonvisible diffuse link.
