Abstract:Nano-titanium dioxide(nano-TiO2) is the mostly common material for photovoltaic solar energy conversion. Surface modification can improve the photoelectric properties of nano-TiO2. In order to determine the addition of aluminum according to the aluminum elemental morphology, and the effect on nano-TiO2 of every aluminum elemental morphology. The inorganic surface of nano-TiO2 was coated by aluminum, and the properties of titanium dioxide were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD), infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analyzer and scanning electron microscopy(SEM), to make sure the aluminum morphology of modified nano-TiO2. The experiment showed that the surface coating of nanometer titanium dioxide modified by aluminum is in the form of AlOOH and amorphous Al(OH)3, and the number of AlOOH, Al(OH)3 and TiO2 is about 1∶1.5∶7.5, coated with Al(OH)3 mainly.
