The scintillation properties of four Laguerre-Gauss (LG) beam propagating through the atmospheric turbulence are investigated by the phase-screen simulation. The results indicate that the four LG beams can reduce the scintillation index compared with the single LG beam. Besides, the inner scales have bigger effect on the scintillation index of the LG beam compared with the outer scales. And the scintillation index of the LG beam will become bigger with increases of the bigger topological charge or bigger radial quantum number. At last, the scintillation index of the LG beam achieves the minimum value by using a proper value of the distance between the LG beams.
