Abstract:Stray light suppression is an important method for improving the accuracy of star sensor, and the baffle design is the main way to suppress stray light. The baffle of Star sensor was modeling by Solidworks software, the structure of the baffle was drawn, and the resulted structure was imported into TracePro software for stray light analysis. By setting the bidirectional scattering distribution function and ray tracing number of material surface, a total of 16 offaxis angles between 1°~75° were ray traced at different azimuthal angles, and the PST curve was obtained. The results show that, compared to the previous structure, PST value decreases an order of magnitude, and the system's ability to suppress stray light reaches 10-9 magnitude at 30°. The design of vertical structures within the baffle retains the aura of good stray light inhibition, and makes the system’s suppression level of stray light greatly improved.
