A design of all-optical NOR and NOT logic gates based on two-dimensional triangular lattice photonic crystal are proposed. The design is composed of silicon rods in air, and the main part is four photonic crystal waveguides with four ports. The proposed structure was simulated by using plane wave expansion method and finite difference time domain, and the photonic band structure as well as the optical transmission characteristics were calculated. Simulation results show that the proposed all-optical structure can realize the function of NOR and NOT logic gate with the response period of 0.388ps. The area of the proposed structure is only 9.675μm×7.820μm.
