In order to measure the concentration of dissolved oxygen in the microbial fuel cell and improve the efficiency of electricity production of microbial fuel cell, based on the fluorescence quenching principles and by using phenanthroline ruthenium as fluorescent markers, oxygen sensitive films were fabricated with sol-gel method. The fluorescence intensity emitted by fluorescence indicator was measured to realize the measurement of dissolved oxygen concentration. Experimental results show that the relative fluorescence intensity of the sensor has a good linear relationship with the concentration of dissolved oxygen, the fitting coefficient can reach 0.9807, and the sensor presents good reversibility.
