Abstract:Tungsten trioxide (WO3) films were prepared by sol-gel method on glass substrate of indium tin oxide (ITO), then annealed at 300℃ for 2h, and finally polyaniline (PANI) was grown on the surface of ITO glass coated WO3 film according to electrodeposition method. WO3 film, PANI film and PANI/WO3 composite membranes were characterized by electrochemical methods, spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) testing which show that the transmittance of colored and bleached state of composite membrane is significantly different, the color efficiency (CE) of composite membrane is up to 57.94cm2/C, while CE of PANI and WO3 film are 28.94cm2/C and 10.55cm2/C respectively, increasing by 50% and 82%. The result of scanning electron microscope reveals that the surface of PANI film is loose with disordered pores; the structure of composite membrane is smooth along with ordered pores and its surface is uniform.
