Abstract:There are various design requirements of heat structures in practical engineerings, and choosing right design objective of the heat dissipation is the key element for realizing the heat channel layout optimization. Based on the density method, heat transfer structures are optimized by 5 kinds of design objectives, including dissipation of heat transport potential capacity, average temperature, geometry average temperature, the temperature gradient and temperature standard deviation. By comparing the average temperature, the maximum temperature, the temperature gradient, temperature standard deviation and dissipation of heat transport potential capacity with the design results respectively, the rules for the choosing of design objective to different conditions are obtained. So in practical applications, when the high heat conduction material is constant, the optimal objective function can be chosen accurately and quickly.
