Abstract:The principles and advantages of near-infrared (NIR) imaging technology are presented. Then the components of InGaAs NIR camera, including InGaAs detector, driving circuit, signal processing circuit and the interface circuit, are discussed. Meanwhile, the communication process and the methods of defect compensation are explained. By comparing the differences of the IR cameras, visible light camera and the InGaAs cameras, the excellent adaptability and wide applications of InGaAs cameras in military and civilian fields are indicated.
