Abstract:According to the problem of low accuracy of single frequency C/A code GPS receiver, a method was presented to improve the GPS accuracy by combining GPS and opto electronic theodolite. In rectangular emission coordinate system, the opto electronic theodolite was used to measure the target azimuth and pitching angle, and the commonly used "horizontal projection method—L formula" was applied to calculate the trajectory of flying object. By comparing with the actual trajectory, double station intersection measurement error was obtained. Using GPS and opto electronic theodolite to measure the same target, the measurement results of the two methods were compared. Then GPS measurement error can be obtained by using intersection measurement precision as GPS measurement datum and the comparison with the coordinates provided by GPS. When using GPS to measure other coordinates, more accurate coordinates can be obtained after removing the measurement error.
