Abstract:The two dimensional experimental demonstration system of free space optical communication was designed and built based on dual DSP processor and precision mechanical turntable. In this system, the motion of photoelectric target was substitute of simulation turntable. The Kalman predictive control algorithm was achieved in the processor of TMS320F2812, and it was compared with conventional PID classical control. Experiment studies were carried out to verify the Kalman forecast control algorithm and the results show that, compared to conventional PID algorithm, the Kalman predictive control achieves better control effect under the condition of adequate sample points.
