Abstract:Organic phototransistors (OPTs) have drawn much attention due to the features of low cost and easy processability. In this paper, organic phototransistors based on 6, 13-dichloropentacene (DCP) microribbons were reported. The DCP microribbons were prepared through solvent vapor enhanced drop casting method, by using chlorobenzene and dichlorobenzene as solvents. Experimental results show that, with chlorobenzene as solvent, crystalline microribbons with well-shaped and high quality were obtained; while with dichlorobenzene as solvent, large area well aligned microribbons were prepared. Organic phototransistors based on these two kinds of crystalline microribbons were constructed by using Au as source and drain electrodes. Under low intensity incident white light (1.55mW/cm2), both transistors display high photo-sensitivity.
