The parallelism of the optical axis of the telescope is an important indicator of the performance of binocular instruments. Optical axis disorders will affect the observers vision even the observed effect. In this paper, a calibration model of the telescope optical axis was established based on the prism micro theory, the calibration process was divided into primary correction and accurate correction and the derivation process was discussed. The validity of the model was verified by experiments, and the results show that the combination of CCD and the image processing technology can precisely calibrate the optical axis.
