Abstract:High-speed interface technology currently uses PCI Express bus. By the utilization of the PCI Express IP core in the Xilinx V5 FPGA, the PCI Express interface logic is discussed and designed in detail. The WDM driver of the Xilinx PCI Express IP core for the DMA data transfer control is also proposed. Finally, an image grabbing experiment platform is built to test the performance and the whole design. It is proved that the transmission speed is of 90~100MB /s can be achieved in the X1 link configuration on the testing platform.
