Abstract:To meet different requirements on high frequency and high resolution capacity in different applications, a kind of multi-pattern imaging technology using video area CCD camera was put forward. Firstly, the characteristics and functions of the video area CCD were analyzed to determine the working pattern of CCD. Secondly, the composition of the video area CCD camera with multi-pattern was determined according to these working patterns. Then the switching method of the working patterns in sequential driving circuit was elaborated in detail. Finally, outfield imaging tests were carried out on video area CCD camera under various working patterns. Test results show the video area CCD camera can obtain good imaging effect in various working patterns, and the switching time among different working patterns is 2 ms. The real-time and validity of the proposed imaging method is verified.
