Abstract:The photometric characteristics of the space target can reflect its motion state in the orbit and attitude, and by measuring the photometric, its state and stance can be determined. Traditional photometer photometric measurements are analyzed, and then a photometric measurement method based on CCD is proposed. In this method, the star’s gray value of known magnitude is measured, and then the gray value of “0” magnitude is obtained by the definition of formula of photometry. By photometric measurements, the gray value of the test star is compared with that of “0” magnitude, then the magnitude of the test star is calculated. When calculating "0" magnitude gray-scale and inverse calculating the magnitude of the test star, it is taken full account of the atmospheric extinction on the measurement results, and the measurement results are corrected in accordance with the formula for extinction. Test results show that the accuracy error of CCD photometry method is less than 0.2 magnitude.
