Pixel circuit is the key cell of readout circuit, so it is quite important to the performance of Infrared-focal-plane-array (IRFPA). In this paper, the direct injection pixel circuit is analyzed in the respects of circuit structure, injection efficiency, charge storage capacity and nonlinearity. The influence of device parameters on the injection efficiency was fully investigated through simulation and the effects of integration capacitor on the charge storage capacity and nonlinearity were analyzed. Based on the research, the readout circuit is designed and implemented on CSMC0.5μm process. Test results show that the readout circuit has good performance and it has been successfully applied in the detector system of a certain institute and the infrared images have been obtained.
