Abstract:

A design of mini polarization-maintaining (PM) 1×4 optomagnetic switch was proposed and demonstrated. The configuration and switching principle of the device were investigated and the performance indexes including insertion loss (IL), cross talk, PM extinction ratio were analyzed and simulated by numerical simulations, demonstrating the feasibility of the design.
