Abstract:According to the shortcomings of commonly used heat transfer analysis model and fluid-solid coupling analysis model, the narrow applicability and large computation in the LED radiator thermal analysis, the modeling methods of LED radiator thermal analysis was studied. Proposed is an equivalent thermal conduction analysis model which can be used to simplify the fluid-solid coupling analysis method, thus there is no need to calculate complex fluid-structure coupling model and the temperature state of the radiator can be gotten. And from the calculation, it is easy to obtain the equivalent heat transfer coefficient h, and the technical parameters of LED radiator, e.g. flow of fan, which is needed to choose the fan size. From the analysis of air-cooled radiator for LED light as an example, it shows that the proposed equivalent modeling method which simplifies the analysis can not only improve computational efficiency, but also has application value in practice.
