Abstract:In order to resist the scattering effect efficiently, a system design for the free space optical orthogonal frequency division multiplexing communication (FSO-OFDM) was proposed. The performance of 2.5Gb/s FSO-OFDM system with different modulation modes and different numbers of sub-carrier was simulated under weather conditions. And the BER and SNR of the FSO-OFDM system were analyzed for different modulation modes and sub carriers. Simulation results show that, compared with 16PSK modulation mode, the system applying 16QAM mode can obtain lower BER and higher Q value.
